Gennusa Maria Elena
Maria Elena Gennusa is an Associate Professor in Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Economics, University of Pavia. She took her PhD in Constitutional Law from the University of Milan. She previously taught at the University of Milan, Milan Bicocca and at Bocconi University, and she is currently part of the Council of Teachers of the PhD program in ‘Diritto Publico’ (Public Law) at the University of Pavia.
Specifically, she is in charge of: the Constitutional Law Course (an undergraduate course);); the European Constitutional Law Course (a postgraduate course) the International Business Law (a postgraduate course)
Apart from these academic activities, she has also taught at the Regional Council of the Regional Government of Lombardy.
She took part in the E. U. Network of Independent Experts on Fundamental Rights from 2004 to 2006. She has been collaborating with the journal “Quaderni costituzionali” in Euroscopio (a review of Luxembourg and Strasbourg case-law) and has authored a number of scientific publications primarily on the dynamics of the system of government, on the safeguarding of fundamental rights and on the constitutional implications of the process of European Integration.
