MIBE stories: Closing Session academic year 2018-2019
The Master’s in International Business and Entrepreneurship offered by the University of Pavia is no ordinary master’s course. It gives students the chance to belong to and to help build a strong community made up of students from different backgrounds, professors and external business people. This establishes a unique environment where students can network with companies and increase their creativity and curiosity specially regarding innovative tools and techniques that can be implemented in everyday life.
This year we had the pleasure of celebrating the academic year 2018-2019 in the San Gaudenzio castle.
The event named “Mibe closing party”, was a chance for everybody to look back on the objectives that were reached during the academic year. The conference started off on an emotional note with headmaster Stefano Denicolai and professor Cotta Ramusino’s moving speech. This was followed by Leonardo Petrini (COO of Virality) sharing practical examples on the application of machine learning on social media and Carmine Farina (Head of M&A at Edison Group) providing key information on real case studies carried out by the Edison Group which focused on mergers and acquisition projects on renewable energy.
After a brainstorming and idea exchange session, all participants were invited to a special dinner where they had the chance to network and discuss topics previously mentioned at the event.
Having had a tremendously successful evening, we would like to extend our gratitude to all those who participated and made the evening a special and memorable one. Thank you to all those involved in this academic year; staff and our highly qualified professors who always provide students with valuable knowledge and top-quality material.
A special thank you goes out to our partner Confindustria who along with Castello di San Gaudenzio sponsored the event.
We would also like to congratulate all students for helping us reach our goals and are eager to see what the new year will bring.
Finally, we look forward to welcoming on board new MIBE students for the 2019-2020 academic year.
